Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Mix the active sourdough starter with warm plant-based milk and a splash of apple cider vinegar (natural). Stir in the flour, brown sugar, and salt until a sticky dough forms. Knead gently until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 4 to 6 hours depending on starter activity.
- Roll Out the Dough: Turn risen dough onto a floured surface and roll into a large rectangle. Spread softened plant-based butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture evenly on top. Brush lightly with vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural) for extra flavor.
- Shape and Cut Rolls: Roll the dough tightly from one edge to the other to form a log. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into evenly sized rolls. Place the rolls cut-side up in a greased baking dish, leaving space between for expansion.
