  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (natural)
  • 1/4 tsp natural gelling agent

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Warm the plant-based milk slightly. Stir in the active dry yeast and 1 tsp granulated sugar. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, vegetable oil, and melted plant-based butter. Knead until a smooth elastic dough forms, about 8 to 10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes with a stand mixer.
  3. Let the Dough Rise: Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the Filling: Mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon (natural), melted plant-based butter, and vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural) in a bowl.
  5. Roll and Fill: Punch down the dough, roll into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough. Roll up from the long edge to form a tight log.
  6. Slice and Arrange: Cut the log into 2-inch slices. Place them cut side up in a greased baking dish, leaving space for expansion.
